Dear Hardeetown Church Family, 
 
Gail and I wish to thank all of you for extending such a strong welcome and call!  It made knowing how we were supposed to respond so very clear, and with much joy!  
 
We are looking forward with great anticipation to being with you as soon as possible.  Know that we will continue to pray for you, as I know you will for us in these transition days ahead.  The next few weeks will be filled with finding a place to live, packing, helping FBC Tavares with the transition to begin their search for the man God has in mind for them, and a myriad of other details.  So we covet all the prayer support we can get during these next few weeks, and anticipate being with you by early October.
 Gail and I have already come to have much affection for you and look forward to the years ahead as we come alongside of you, that together we will make a difference for the Kingdom of God at Hardeetown Baptist Church!
 
I am reminded of what the Apostle Paul wrote to the Phillipians that expressed his affection for that church, and expresses the heartfelt affection that Gail and I have for you:
 
  “Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.  I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, always offering prayer with joy in my every prayer for you all, in view of your participation in the gospel from the first day until now.  For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.” Phillipians 1:2-6
